Mozzarella di Bufala
Imported Italian Mozzarella di Bufala Campana PDO. This
wonderful fresh cheese, with fragrant and delicate flavor, is
produced with pasteurized Water Buffalo Milk from Cooperativa "La
Contadina" Soc. Coop. a r.l., producers and transformers of high
quality Water Buffalo Milk, right in the heart of the PDO area of
production of Mozzarella Di Bufala Campana. The cheese has a
uniform porcelain-white color, oval in shape, with a very thin and
glossy rind; compact and with a rather springy body. When cut
across a whitish, lightly acidulous whey, smelling of milk
ferments, oozes out.
